The owners acquired 18 White Hills Rd in 2011, initially as an investment property. In 2015, they decided it was the perfect place for their own 'tree change' and an opportunity to create an eco-luxury haven from what was little more than a bush block. They spent the next 7 years creating the paradise called "Beau Vue Estate".

However, one of the owners has now returned to full-time work as the CEO of a Melbourne-based company, requiring him in Melbourne 5 days a week. They now live in Melbourne and Beau Vue has become only an occasional weekend or holiday retreat from the city; winter or summer, it's a joy to escape to Beau Vue.

Outstanding in every way possible! The house is set high on the property and surrounded by an amazing garden and private pool area - the views out from the house are just lovely and full of colour, featuring mostly natives, but also includes a herb and veggie bed at the back of the house. Inside the house is a truly great collection of artwork. The appliances are all high quality. Comfort and quality extend throughout the house - the outdoor room with bar and bbq is fitted out to perfection. To top it off the house is zero carbon footprint, with a solar set up with batteries. Centrally located to Ballarat and Daylesford it's an ideal base to explore the region. Totally 150% recommended.

1. The fabulous Pool Resort

Create summer memories with family and friends at the fully equipped pool resort. The pool is heated by an electric pool heater that takes full advantage of Beau Vue's ample free solar power. The pool area itself offers privacy, power and Wi-Fi, so day or night, party to your heart's content.

2. Award winning gardens

Guests will all go "wow" as they wander the gardens around the estate. The 12 garden areas are watered via a computer controlled irrigation system feeding from a large hidden rainwater tank. 

Beau Vue Estate was featured in the Victorian Garden Design Fest, which saw visitors from all over Victoria and interstate. It has also featured in the annual Garden Lovers Weekend in Creswick that draws hundreds of people. On 8-9 November 2025, Beau Vue again will be open to visitors during the Creswick Garden Lovers Weekend.

3. Entertainer's patio

The 70 sqm patio is the main entertainment area of the home. The patio includes a dining area that seats 8 and a lounge area with a view down the property that always evokes a "wow" from guests. 

The area is warmed and cooled by a dedicated split system for year round comfort (did I mention the endless solar power?). 

The entire patio is surrounded by Ziptrack blinds to keep out bugs, wind and rain, and to ensure privacy. There are two built-in BBQs with a range hood above. There is a sink with hot and cold water, a fully-equipped bar, that features two fridges, large screen TV and ample storage for whatever you need. All features included in the sale. Need a break? Take a moment by the pond, feed the fish or just enjoy the serenity. The pond is fed by a wetland filter that keeps the pond ecosystem naturally pure. The pond is designed as a swim pond, but note it is unfenced so not suitable for very young children.
